The vibrations of the vowels of how you say OM (A,O, and U) and the consonants (M and N) all have their own resonance area in the body.
A - Resonates in the chest area, heart, shoulders, upper back; corresponds with the fourth chakra, the heart chakra, the pitch if F and the colors are pink and green.
O - Resonates in the upper below, the first part of the digestive track with all its organs, including the stomach, liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, duodenum and small intestine; also the solar plexus nerve center; corresponds with the third chakra, the solar plexus chakra; the pitch is E and the colors are gold and yellow.
U - Resonates in the lower belly, the last part of the digestive tract, including the kidneys, large intestine, colon, rectum, and the ovaries or prostate; corresponds with the second chakra, the sacral chakra; the pitch is D and the color is orange.
M - Resonates in the entire spinal column from bottom to top, and in the head. Low M tones obviously have more effect in the spine, while higher pitched M tones resonate only in the skull, mainly the brain. As above, so below!
N - Resonates only inside the head, mainly the forehead, and face, including the eyes, nose, and mouth cavities, as well as the inner ear. So, when you sing, with mouth shut, the M and the N simultaneously, your whole head will resonate. The pitch with this combined M-N may be A, belonging to the sixth chakra, the brow chakra, or third eye. The colors to visualize with this sound are indigo and purple, up to a very light lilac and clear sun-white in the seventh chakra, the crown chakra.
